Membership and Advanced Membership
At Dystopia Rising Live, every participant starts with a Basic Membership—it’s all you need to dive into the immersive, post-apocalyptic world we’ve built together. But if you’re looking to expand your gameplay, grow all your characters simultaneously, or explore more dynamic roleplay options during events, the Advanced Membership might be for you. Advanced Memberships can be easily added via the Dystopia Rising Live website. Please note that these upgrades must be purchased at least three days prior to the event to take effect.
basic membership
Three Characters: Create up to three characters in our database.
One Per Event: Play one character at each event you attend.
XP Growth: Gain experience points (XP) for the character you bring to the event.
advanced membership
Triple XP Growth: All three of your characters are checked in and earn XP when you attend an event.
Character Swapping:
After playing a character for at least 4 hours, you can swap to another character (as long as CVC rules are followed).
Want to switch again? You can swap characters every 4 hours during the event. You can swap every 4 hours of active in character play if you would like.
Resource Management:
When a character enters play for the first time, they start with full Mind, Body, and Resolve.
If you return to a character later, they come back in the condition they left—keeping gameplay balanced and immersive.
Intent of additional benefits
We’re always striving to enhance the Dystopia Rising Live experience, and our Advanced Membership is no exception. While the current benefits already offer incredible opportunities for multi-character growth and dynamic gameplay, we’re working to expand the value of Advanced Membership with additional perks and features.
Planned upgrades include the potential for cross-network experience point (XP) gains that could apply to other licensed Dystopia Rising LARPs within our network, further enriching your characters and expanding your storylines across the wasteland. Rest assured, any new rewards or benefits we build into the Advanced Membership will be retroactively applied to ensure that you get the full value of your membership from day one.

Advanced Membership is an As-Is Product
Advanced Membership is offered as an as-is product, designed to enhance your gameplay experience within the Dystopia Rising Live network. However, please note that certain circumstances may arise that are beyond our control, such as database outages, accessibility to local games, or changes to event schedules.
Purchasing an Advanced Membership does not guarantee continued attendance at associated events or uninterrupted access to the character database. As such, refunds or rebates will not be provided for these or similar situations. By purchasing an Advanced Membership, you acknowledge and accept these terms as part of the service.
