Discussion relating to player representation
Multiple branches said they did not have time to organize this discussion in Q1. Scope, focus, and reason of having the discussion with players was revisited
Player’s voiced that more direct involvement in the “Development” portion of DR was requested. Owners told to make sure players know that Most Improbable is the development company (pays for all of the expenses) and that there is a Discord server. 1 on 1 direct feedback and response isn’t currently possible due to the limitations of payroll and staffing hours.
Owners asked to organize these discussions before next meeting.
Issue of payment. 30% of branches do not pay on time and require multiple reminders before payment comes in.
Reminder that late and non-payment only hurts the players and the branches. If the money doesn’t come in to pay for things we need, we just don’t pay for them and everything slows down. This includes game support, development, database, hosting, software, and contracted hires. We do not spend money we do not have, so if the money doesn’t come it, owners will just be informed of delays due to non-payment issues.
Multiple branches are not currently at the Advisory Board meeting due to non-payment.
Owners need to make sure games are represented.
If an owner does not have time to be involved with review processes, attending meetings, and representing their players they should have an employee who is empowered to represent the game do so.
We currently have multiple Directors/ Owners who are voicing changes and issues they have they want in private chats, but not actually coming to the table to be involved with the development of the network. Branches have been given the tools to be involved. If they choose not to be involved, they are doing their game and their players a massive disservice.
